Maxigesic is a medication that effectively reduces fever and provides relief from various types of pain such as headaches, dental pain, backache, arthritis, and muscular pain. It contains a combination of Paracetamol and Ibuprofen with 500mg and 150mg respectively.

For adults and children over 12 years, the recommended dosage is 1 to 2 tablets with a large glass of water. The dose can be repeated every 4 to 6 hours, as required, up to a maximum of 8 tablets within a 24-hour period. However, this medication is not suitable for children under 12.

It is important to note that Maxigesic should not be used for more than 72 hours without consulting a doctor. This precautionary measure is in place to prevent any adverse effects that may occur due to prolonged use of this medication.
