It contains Paracetamol (500mg) and Ibuprofen (150mg) as its active components.

For adults and children over the age of 12, the recommended dosage is 1 or 2 tablets with a large glass of water, to be taken every 4-6 hours as needed. It is important not to exceed 8 tablets in a 24-hour period, and Maxigesic should not be given to children under the age of 12.
