The use of Olfen 1% Gel is intended for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over. For pain, inflammation, and swelling in various conditions such as sprains, contusions, strains, and localized soft tissue rheumatism, a cherry-to-walnut-sized amount of the gel (24g) should be applied to the affected area 3-4 times a day and gently rubbed in. The treatment duration should be evaluated based on the success of treatment and the indication, and should not exceed 14 days. If symptoms do not improve after 2 weeks, a reevaluation of the treatment should be conducted. It is important to wash hands well after use (except when treating osteoarthritis of the fingers). Use of Olfen 1% Gel in children under 12 years of age is not recommended due to the lack of systematic testing of its safety and efficacy in this age group. The gel can be used in conjunction with other forms of Olfen as part of a treatment plan.
