Duphalac liquid is a sweet-tasting solution that contains lactulose and provides gentle relief from constipation. Lactulose helps to draw water into the intestine, softening the stool and making it easier to pass. It may take up to 2 to 3 days for Duphalac to provide satisfactory results.

To use Duphalac, adults and adolescents can take 15ml to 45ml daily, either in a single dose or divided into two doses. Once a satisfactory result is achieved, the dose can be adjusted to 15ml to 30ml daily, in one or two doses.

Children aged 7 to 14 years old can take 15ml daily, either in a single dose or divided into two doses. Once a satisfactory result is achieved, the dose can be adjusted to 10ml to 15ml daily, in one or two doses.
