Panadol Cold + Flu caplets are effective for relieving symptoms such as blocked or runny nose, headache and body ache, fever, sinus pain/congestion, itchy and watery eyes, and sneezing. However, if you are taking or have taken MOIs in the past two weeks, you should not take Panadol Cold + Flu Tablets. If you have been diagnosed with conditions such as hepatic or severe renal impairment, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, heart disease, phaeochromocytoma, enlargement of the prostate, or occlusive vascular disease, you should take special care when using this medication. It is also important to use caution when taking antihypertensive drugs.
If you have glutathione depleted states such as sepsis or a severe infection, using Paracetamol may increase the risk of metabolic acidosis. Signs of metabolic acidosis may include deep, rapid, difficult breathing, feeling sick (nausea), being sick (vomiting), and loss of appetite. Additionally, this product should not be used during pregnancy without seeking medical advice.
